Generations Bank Welcomes 6th Generation Banker

Generations Bank, an Arkansas community bank with nine locations throughout the state, is proud to announce the addition of Max Harrell, the 6th generation of bankers in the Harrell family, to their Fayetteville branch’s staff. 

Max is the son of Chairman Jon Harrell, and the grandson of the late Searcy Harrell Jr. Max has been an employee of Generations Bank since 2014, serving in various positions including teller, loan clerk, loan intern, and junior credit analyst. Max began his full-time position as a Commercial Banker at the Fayetteville branch of Generations Bank in July. Max will work in commercial and consumer lending. He is excited to provide banking and lending services to the Northwest Arkansas communities.

Max is a 2018 graduate of the University of Arkansas, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Finance. While attending the University of Arkansas, he was a member of the Walton College Finance Association, was recognized as a Graduating Student Leader, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity, where he served on the Interfraternity Council his senior year.
