ROGERS, AR – Generations Bank announces today that Siloam Springs Market President Tim McCord plans to retire effective January 4th, 2022. Current EVP Steve Wilmott will succeed McCord as Market President for the Siloam Springs community.

McCord began his banking career almost forty years ago as a financial systems analyst. “We thank Tim for the excellent service and leadership that he has contributed to our bank over the last sixteen years. On behalf of every Generations Bank team member, I want to wish Tim the very best as he starts the next chapter in his life,” said Joe Ruddell, President of Generations Bank. “Tim has been a leader in the Siloam Springs community for many years now, and we are excited to support him in all of his future endeavors.” Tim currently serves on the Board of Directors for New Beginnings Pregnancy Center, Board of Directors for Siloam Springs Regional Hospital, Board of Directors for the Roy Chesney Foundation, Board of Directors for the Siloam Springs Public Facilities, and as a member of the Siloam Springs Public School Foundation. He has been named to the Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame and received the Outstanding Civic Leader Award in 2018. McCord received his Bachelor’s from University of Central Oklahoma and MBA in Finance from Oklahoma City University.

Steve Wilmott will be succeeding McCord as Market President come January 2022. McCord and Wilmott have worked alongside each other for most of their careers. “I am blessed to have been able to work with and learn from Tim for the past 34 years. He has not only been my boss but my friend. He has the utmost integrity and through his leadership and hard work, has grown this to be a very successful branch in Siloam,” said Steve Wilmott. “Tim has always lead by example, showing our team what it takes to ‘do it the right way.’ I appreciate everything that Tim has done for me and my family over the years. I wish Tim and Brenda the best in his retirement.”
